Flowers Yay

Went to the florists yesterday with my mum and we chose the flowers for the bouquets and button holes, can't wait to see how they look, we're having gerberas in really bold autumny colours with a bit of gypsifelia and greenery, it's all shaping up

Hen Do Invites Poem

I've finally finished the hen do invites, they look great, black and white theme, shaped as masquerade masks. Even made the wording as a poem, very happy

Rings & Reception

We paid for our wedding rings today and they are being delivered on Saturday so will have to try them on and make sure they fit hehe.  Seeing Howard the wedding co-ordinator at the hotel that same day to finalise numbers and the menu and any other finishing touches.  Then it will be just count down for that.  Must get the hen do invites finished too!

Getting creative

Next week is get creative week.  I managed to order the same mulberry paper doves to use on my table planner and place cards that i used for my wedding invitations.  I definitely got a theme going here.  Numbers are finalised for the day do so will crack on with all that.  Bought the material this week for making sashes for my hen do so got 20 of them to make up too.  Been in hospital this week so after a restful weekend I will be raring to go on a few blue peter sessions next week haha

12 weeks and 5 days

Cant believe its just over 12 weeks til the wedding.  Haven't posted on here for a while, been so busy with other stuff.  Numbers are confirmed for our day do now and more or less for the evening do.  Have sorted out the mens and ladies favours, just need to make them all up.  Having my first hair trial on 31st August so that's exciting.  Hubby to be is treating me to new make up to use for the wedding day so will have to have a trial run with that too.  Getting the wedding rings delivered in early August so we can make sure they fit.  Need to make the table planner and place cards next.  So much to do...........................

Invitations

Been sat finally making the invitations today, almost finished the day invites, think the evening ones will be slightly different.  Just got to finalise the wording inside the day invites and rsvp cards and then that's them done. 222 days to go

Table Decs

The mini birdcages came today, they are beautiful, don't want to give too much away but reckon they will look great with the other bits and pieces that will be on the tables

Invitations

I've finally ordered all the bits i need to make our invitations so broken wrist willing I will start making them next week, just need to decide what to put on the inside of them lol

Table Decorations

So theme seems to have gradually changed and i have a moment of either inspiration or madness today and decide to look on Ebay for birdcages.  Found what i was looking for, got the approval of the hubby to be and ordered them.  One more step closer hehe

238 days

238 days to go. Doesn't really seem that long now.  Saw the vicar on Monday night so that's the church booked now.  Found the most gorgeous favour boxes on Ebay so ordered them and they really are perfect.  My aunty is making home made soaps to put in them and i'm going to make bracelets too.  So that's all the ladies sorted just need to decide what to do for them men and children!  Making a start on the day invitations soon too, they will be very classy

Countdown

244 days today or 35 weeks woohoo!  Got my arm in a pink cast so been delayed in starting on my home made gift boxes for the favours but it will happen.  Still need to sort out our guest list for the evening do but we'll get there eventually
